WHO WE ARE
We are a company dedicated to the textile sector, specifically to the design, manufacture and distribution of women's clothing. Located between Madrid, Toledo and Valencia, it was created by a small team, very small in fact, coming from different areas of fashion and determined to create a brand different from the rest.
We suppose that this is the dream of any project that starts up. We all want to be different, but we are also different.
With a clear focus, our aim is to make clothes that are fun, cheerful, that radiate good vibes, that fill us with emotion and that are easily recognisable. We want to create a large LeCRUEL community made up of people who feel comfortable and identify with each of our garments. In other words, we are looking for real LeCRUELs, fashion and trend lovers under the LeCRUEL umbrella.
We design and manufacture clothes anywhere in the world, the textile sector is certainly one of the most globalised. Our suppliers are mainly located in Asia, the place where almost everything is created, the place where they have the know-how of this industry.
We distribute through our sales channel in Spain and Portugal, although our dream is to become a multinational company. For the moment, you can find us in the best multi-brand boutiques nationwide. Small and medium-sized shops where we coexist with national and international brands.

BELEN CORTES - DESIGNER & OPERATIONS MANAGER

I have been commissioned to talk about Belen Cortes, her career, her experience, past and future. She defines herself as a "learner" (to learn), entrepreneur (to undertake) and businesswoman.
Her training ended in a mixture of Law subjects, but there was something she liked almost as much as Law, creating, growing, undertaking, organising, falling, earning money, sharing, losing, managing... and all this comes from being a businesswoman.
Her first businesses were in the hotel and catering sector, restaurants and cafés, an exciting sector that gives you above all experience and human relationships, more than 600 contracts, that's more than 600 people to work with, discuss, negotiate, share, laugh, chat and in short, live with.
ISABEL BAUTISTA - PRODUCTION MANAGER - Fashion Designer and Expert Pattern Maker
Isa is the pattern designer and manager of the production processes. She has taught at the Complutense University of Madrid in the Degree in Design and has developed her career with major firms and designers in our country.
With almost 30 years of experience in the fashion sector, in which she has combined professional practice in private companies with teaching.
"Industrial and made-to-measure pattern making, on the table and on the computer, has been what has really guided my professional career. Pattern maker, Stevedore, Head of Pattern Making Department, Production Control, and countless courses given".
SUSTAINABLE LECRUEL
"At the moment we are working on being bearable, but we are taking small steps to be sustainable"
We want to be honest, it is very difficult to combine sustainability and fashion... this industry must learn to transform itself because in doing so we will be helping to transform the society around us.
It's not easy ... but at LeCRUEL we are taking small steps towards sustainability.
- We have eliminated the historic plastic bags in which garments are stored and shipped. Instead we use TNT bags, a non-woven fabric made from the fusion of fibres that can be reused over and over again.
- You will no longer receive our garments hanging on plastic hangers. In our shipments, the garment will arrive folded. This takes up less space and therefore the transport has less impact on the environment.
- All our cotton garments are made of "organic cotton". do you know what organic cotton is? It is a cotton that has been cultivated with natural seeds on which no pesticides are used, in addition 90% less water is used in its cultivation. It is the healthiest option for our skin and for the environment, among many other virtues.
- We create fashion for a long time, this means that our garments are made with quality fabrics that help us to increase the durability of these. Let's put an end to single-season fashion.
We know these are small steps, but we work to achieve good waste management, ethical production and as sustainable as possible.
But it's not all about the environment, we also aim to be a sustainable company on a human level. To be able to work with freedom of timetables, bringing together a multidisciplinary team capable of shining individually and collectively. To create the LeCRUEL community from within, starting with ourselves. In short, we are working to become a better brand.
